I began tattooing in Pahoa Hawaii 25 years ago, learning Hawaiian and Polynesian designs and motifs. I utilize traditional patterns and as inspiration to keep oral traditions connected in modern designs and embedding history and cultural traditions in modern Hawaiian, Polynesian and Neo-Tribal tattoos.

I enjoy tattoo history, made up of oral traditions found throughout native cultures with tattoo rich histories and including American Traditional motifs of the last 130 years of modern electric tattooing.

Back in San Francisco and enjoying the opportunity to work with talented artists in the local tattoo community, I enjoy traditional tattoo themes mixed with new imagery, while keeping Polynesian a focus of my connection to my home on the island.
